my friend abbigail otteson's husband is attending TCU and in a few weeks, and will be competing in a
national Values and Ventures Business Plan Competition at TCU with her
little start up business plan.
the business has adopted the “good returns” business model from a company called Soap Hope. her printable stationery company will invest 100% of its profits every year, for the full year, into anti-poverty non-profits. these organizations will use her funds to then issue small business loans to women in poverty, training them how to start and run their own small businesses.
