Hello Life's Golden Moments readers! 

We're so excited Darlene asked us to post today. Isn't she the cutest thing ever? Well we are Madison and Lauren, aka Awkward Girls. On our blog we like to talk about fashion, friendship, food and fun.

On the agenda today is Valentine's Day Outfit advice. We love this because whether you have a boo, or are just gonna party it up with your ladies (Singles Awareness Day, anyone?), Valentine's Day is the perfect day to get dressed up. Here's a little taste of what we'll be wearing:

It's not Valentine's Day without a little bit (or a lot bit) of pink, right? And black is always a classy choice. However, pink and black can easily turn into Avril Lavigne punk rock princess, so be sure to class it up with some sophisticated pearls and heels.

If the pink dress is a little too bold, try for something a softer like this romantic lace dress. And since it's Valentine's Day, why not throw in a bright red pop of color?
