proof eyewear frontier project

we stayed in sea ranch, california for our family reunion. tanner and the boys saw driftwood on the beach and decided to build a little fort for the kids to play in. that "little fort" ended up taking alllll day and needless to say, it turned out awesome. we joked saying that they could rent it out as a beach front bungalow. as they were building, i was taking a few pictures of the process and since we had some proof sunglasses with us, we decided to also do a frontier project. if you're a photographer and interested in being a part of a frontier project, you can find more info here.  it was a very fun day.

frame it

we have two large frames in our bedroom with pictures of trees in them. i've never loved them and have   found myself looking at them wondering what i would like to replace them with. we were in northern california for a family reunion and our surroundings were so beautiful. i couldn't pass up the opportunity to snag some family photos. so, i rummaged through my suitcase for an outfit that would work and asked tanner if he had something to match. he did. i set up my camera settings and asked my brother in law to take a few photos. for an impromptu photoshoot, i love how they turned out. i'm working on doing a few touch ups to our room and these pictures fit what i have in mind. my bedroom is my little oasis so why not make sure i love every aspect of it?!
