the bachelor

tanner and i don't have t.v. and this resulted in me not being able to watch the finale of the bachelor last night. i wasn't really into this season.. but i still wanted to see who won. i stayed off of facebook after 9 just so i wouldn't see anything by mistake. this is a drastic measure for me! i had today all planned out to make caramel popcorn and watch it on hulu BUT when i was running at the gym this morning, the t.v. right in front of me gave it all away! i tried to look away, but it was too late. and now i think ben is a major idiot.

kyoto

proof got a ping pong table in their office but i've never cared too much for the game.. until now. tanner and i make bets when we play and this has made me step up my game. i'm still terrible, like i am at all sports, but i finally won a match! and we just so happened to bet on who gets to pick where we eat on our weekend date night. no wonder i won..

i've been wanting to check out this japenese steak house called kyoto so yeah, we went there. after we got some ice-cream at the good 'ol fancy freeze. and then, we came home and watched hulu. these are our date nights and i wouldn't trade them for anything.

oh, well, nevermind.. i was going to write about my day.. but we're going to the movies. night!

that man

tanner cracks me up. i laugh at him several times a day. yesterday when we left the gym we passed a game store and saw a sign saying they are buying back ipods, ipads, iphones, ect...

tanner said "oh, they buy back ipods, ipads, and iphones, but what about iturkeys? i'm going to bring them an iturkey and ask them if they buy iturkeys." haha what??! and more often than not, when he is using the restroom he makes up songs. usually they are along the lines of "pooper scooper on my shoe. pooper scooper go to school." i love tanner more than anything and i love that he can make me laugh at anything. 

p.s. please don't tell him i wrote about the restroom thing :)

i love sundays

we took a walk along the greenbelt yesterday afternoon which isn't too far from our house. the weather was awesome, hitting a whopping 65. we both talked about how we need to get fishing poles and bikes asap so we can make this a weekly ritual. 

bathroom

i've had a lot of fun decorating our new place. we wanted a bright front room so we used red, purple, and orange as our accent colors. and right now were putting together the bathroom. we went with silver/grey, black, and purple. i found some black picture frames to put up but didn't know what pictures i wanted. i found these from our south america trip, turned them black and white, and wala.. our bathroom pictures. looking through these gave me an itch to travel... which is really likely to happen in july :) proof has a tradeshow opportunity coming up that's out of the country and i really hope they take advantage of it.

it's really convenient for the both of us to be able to leave to mccall when it snows. we came up last night and finished the hunger games series while laying in bed. we were a bit disappointed with the ending but i'd still recommend the books.

 we finally had the best snow fall of the season. we over heard someone say it was 21 inches. but.... i didn't take much advantage of it. i had to get some stuff done this morning while tanner went out and then i ended up riding for a little over an hour before my legs were on fire. this is a good sign, meaning the snow is great, but then i start getting thrown around like a rag doll. at this point i'm just waiting to hurt myself :) 

we have lots of movies we stocked up on and we brought way more food then we needed to. i think we're kind of hoping to get snowed in up here.

 we love my in-laws cozy little cottage and are so lucky to be able to take a lot of advantage of it.
